Jowell T I loved it it was a good movie it reminds me of inside out because it's directed by the same person Pete doctor Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Артём З "Soul" is an American computer-animated comedy drama film produced by Pixar. It was made in the USA in come out 2020. The film-maker are Pete Docter and Kemp Powers. Plot: Joe Gardner, a middle-aged school music teacher, has always dreamed of performing on stage as part of a jazz ensemble. One day, he successfully auditions for a legendary saxophonist and, overjoyed on his way home, falls into a manhole and dies. Now Joe's only way is to the Great Beyond, but he escapes from the escalator to eternity and accidentally ends up in the Great Before. Here, new souls find themselves, and future humans develop their passions, dreams, and interests. Joe becomes a mentor to the stubborn soul 22, who has been unable to find her spark and go to Earth for many centuries. The film is very good because of cast voice act and music. Pixar accurately captured the movements of musicians and the sound of instruments. The graphics and special effects are top-notch, there is nothing to complain about. Music in a cartoon can both relaxing and gripping. Box office $121 903 885. I really enjoyed the movie and I recommend everyone to watch it, but in the English dub because of the accents and phrases that have a metaphorical meaning. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Mahmoud A I really liked this movie. I watched it three times. It has a wonderful existential philosophy. My best excerpt in the movie comes after the concert that Joe had been waiting all his life. He asks Dorothea: " So ,uh,what happens next?" "We come back tomorrow and do it all again," Dorothea replies. Joe looks at her, and he is disappointed, so she says to him: "I heard this story about a fish. He swims up to this older fish and says, "I'm trying to find this thing they call the ocean. " "The ocean ?" says the older fish. "That's what you are in right now." "This ?" says the young fish. " This is water. What I want is the ocean." Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Luca A With all of the unexpected moments in the film, this is easily the scariest film I've ever watched in my life. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/05/24 Full Review Superstar C Now THIS is a Pixar movie! Soul goes back to Pixar's roots with their ever-famous combination of tons of heart and sophisticated writing. Truly a film for ALL ages! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/03/24 Full Review Nathan H Pretty nice! I do like the characters and how they interact. The world building is really cool, and I love how all (except for one) of the "unfathomable entities" names are Jerry. Perfect humor there. Now, I'm not a huge fan of gross humor, but honestly, the way that they play it out kind of fits, like how 22 acts like a child in a way, so i think it works really well. The piano segment is amazing, and really captures the "in the zone" feeling as intended. I cannot reccomend this enough. P.S.: as an artist, I can relate to 22. Hands are quite difficult. Whelan Barzey Time Out If anything, Soul is guilty of over-ambition. The wizardry and wit are there, but it lacks Pixar’s usual deftness in making complex themes sing for youngsters.
